UNC-Chapel Hill receives 10 million commitment to expand art collection, strengthen heart disease research endowment

Dr. Hugh A. “Chip” McAllister, Jr., of Houston, has made a $10 million commitment to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill that includes a collection of nearly 50 works of art for the Ackland Art Museum and expanding an endowment dedicated to heart disease research at the School of Medicine.  Learn More

NC Children’s Promise and The Select Group Rock Together in Raleigh

On April 1^st, NC Children’s Promise and The Select Group teamed up to raise money for the NC Children’s Hospital by participating in the Raleigh Rocks Half Marathon and 5K race.  This event combines athletics and the arts in a unique way to motivate its runners—but it was a perfect extension of the partnership that Children’s Promise and The Select Group have enjoyed for years.
