Braun named President of Medical Foundation of North Carolina and Associate Dean for Development at the UNC School of Medicine

Ann Braun, a development professional with extensive experience in both academic medicine and hospital fundraising, will become President of the Medical Foundation of North Carolina and Associate Dean for Development of the UNC School of Medicine on May 19th, 2014. Ms. Braun will lead fifty development professionals at the Medical Foundation of North Carolina, a charitable not-for-profit organization that raises private philanthropic funds to support the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and UNC Health Care. Ann Braun’s most recent position was serving as President and Chief Development Officer of the Palomar Health Foundation, California’s largest hospital district, covering a 2200 square mile area in North San Diego County.
